I am currently a graduate-level counseling student at Northwestern University, on the Child and Adolescent Specialization track, and will graduate in Summer 2027.
I am passionate about trauma research and the mind–body connection, and I am especially interested in how creative expression can support emotional healing—particularly for children and teens.
My goal is to integrate my background in the arts with evidence-based therapeutic training to support clients in meaningful and developmentally attuned ways.

I see therapy as both a science and an art. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients—especially children and teens—can explore their emotions, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways.

My approach is trauma-informed, developmentally attuned, and rooted in the belief that healing involves the mind, body, and imagination. With over twenty years in the arts, I am shaping a counseling style that gently weaves creativity, expression, and regulation into the therapeutic process.
As I continue my training, I remain reflective, research-guided, and committed to helping clients feel seen, empowered, and free to grow at their own pace.

My vision is to grow SMART Therapy Solutions into a collaborative practice with a team of clinicians who integrate the arts and neuroscience into therapy. The SMART approach blends creative expression with evidence-based care:
S – Song (music & rhythm)
M – Movement (somatic and body-based work)
A – Art (visual & expressive arts)
R – Rewiring (neuroscience & brain-based healing)
T – Theater (story, drama, and expressive role work)
My goal is to offer trauma-informed, developmentally attuned services that support healing through both creativity and research-backed methods. If this approach resonates, I’d love for you to stay connected as this vision comes to life.
